The regional museum of historical and local history of Turkestan and the state archaeological museum-reserve “Otyrar” jointly held a regional seminar on the topic “Historical and cultural monuments of Turkestan region: research and preservation issues”.
Associate Professor of South Kazakhstan University named after M. Auezov, Ph.D. Avizova Ayman Karaidarkvyna, leading researchers of the International Kazakh-Turkish University named after Kozha Ahmet Yasawi, Research Institute of Archeology, PhD, associate professor Syzdykov Bakdaulet Saparbekuly and Muzaffer Gursoi, head of the department of the National Historical and Cultural Reserve “Ordabasy” Zhumabek Tashbayev participated.
Within the framework of this event, archaeologist Yerzhigitova Aysulu Askarovna, an employee of the Turkestan regional history and local history museum, paid attention to the exhibition presented by the “Otyrar” museum-reserve and emphasized the significance of the organized event.
At the regional event, Muzaffer Gursoy “Results of archaeological research conducted in Karatobe burial ground in 2024”, Otyrar museum-reserve, junior researcher of the “Archaeology” research department Ziyaev Meirkhan Nurzhanuly “Researches of Otyrar during the years of independence”, “Ordabasy” National historical read the reports prepared by Zhumabek Tashbaev, head of the department of the cultural reserve, on the topic “Research results of the Tolebay Obal cemetery” and promoted the research results and achievements.
Concluding the event, Bayan Yeleusizovna, the director of the Turkestan regional history and local history museum, congratulated the participants of the event and offered to hold more such large-scale events.
