Geographic coordinates: N 41\u00b004.45.28, E 68\u00b040.14.04, altitude above sea level &#8212; 290 m. The Karatobe burial ground is located on the western side of the village of Karatobe, Keles district, on a high terrace on the right bank of the Keles river, on the bank of the Shymkent- Zhetisai. The territory on which the burial ground is located was allocated as a land plot and residential buildings were built on it. As a result, many mounds were destroyed. Myntobe is located 8000 m south of this burial ground. The shape and sequence of the mounds of the Karatobe burial ground are similar to the mounds of the Myntobe burial
